Hey, I'm Kelpin. I write backend code for a living and honestly still get a small kick every time an API responds under 50ms. Go is what I reach for most. I like it because it doesn't let me get away with sloppy thinking, no hiding behind magic, just clean logic and fast execution. That said, if a client needs something built quickly and doesn't need to scale to a million users, I'll happily use Laravel. No point overengineering a dashboard. On the side, I also build mobile apps with Flutter. It started because I got tired of writing the same app twice for iOS and Android, and it kind of stuck. Now I like having a hand in both the backend and the thing people actually tap on. I've bounced around a bit. Some banking systems, some retail platforms, a few things I probably can't talk about here. Different industries, same habit: I think about what breaks before it breaks, not after. Nothing fancy about my philosophy. I just don't like shipping stuff I'd be annoyed to debug at 2am.
